The medieval city of Rhodes, welcoming to all, has hosted people from all over the world throughout time.
People of different religions, nationalities, races, and customs have found security, freedom, peace, and prosperity within these walls.
The bastions are fortifications, built as extensions of the medieval city walls, have served defensively during many of its sieges.
Today, the Medieval City of Rhodes, or the Old Town, as the locals call it, is a special architectural monument and UNESCO World Heritage site. Most visitors simply wander its alleys, but only few have the privilege of spending their holidays directly in one of the accommodations within its walls.
At the gate of St. Antonios, you can find the Bastion of the ‘Palace of the Knights.’ Our accommodation has taken inspiration from this world-famous bastion for its name.

So welcome to the Bastion of the Castle of Knights, or, simply, welcome to the Bastion!
The Bastion was established in around 1920, less than 50meters away from the Palace of the Knights square in the heart of the Old Town, opposite the Old Town Clock and less than 100 meters from the Muslim Mosque.
Completely renovated to serve visitors all modern comforts, it welcomes all travelers who wish to experience and dive into the magical atmosphere of the medieval city on their vacation.
